Shailene Woodley is an American performer and activist. She rose to fame with her portrayal in the role of Alexandra King as a teen addicted girl in The Descendants. Alongside the highly praised performance she gave during The Descendants, Shailene has performed several roles which showed her ability to play tough characters easily. Shailene went on to secure a place of prominence in the world of film early in her career. This is itself an accomplishment.
